Lytton high schools Macbeth

A competition to encourage secondary school pupils to become involved in Shakespeare required 20 minutes of exerpts to be knitted together for a performance. Lytton High won the Regional Final held at the Lawson Field Theatre in April with their version of Macbeth co directed by Karen Douglas and Heather Muir. With the need to fundraise for the trip to a National Festival in Wellington over the Queen's Birthday weekend the group combined a performance at the school with a Medieval Banquet catered by the Lytton High Catering classes "Pukumanawa."
