Marere O Tonga

More than 5 months of intensive training to put together a polished routine of 2 hours of contemporary and traditional Maori and Tahitian waiata, culminated in a concert at the War Memorial Theatre. Twelve performers, all students of Tairawhiti Polytechnic, and three caregivers make up Marere o Tonga who will tour Europe for six weeks.
