NETBALL

Perfect weather and a colourful march past of 65 teams marked the opening of the 1994 netball season at Victoria Domain courts. With National Coach Leigh Gibbs residing in Gisborne and the NZ under 21 tournament here in August, this year looks exciting for the hundreds of players, umpires and administrators involved in the sport.
