The Surf Coast Town Crier with his Companion from Anglesea, Victoria, Australia asked permission of Gisborne's Mayor to walk the streets of Gisborne and to proclaim the good news that Gisborne's Town Crier has been declared Best Dressed NZ Town Crier and runner up to the Best NZ Town Crier. The Gisborne Garden Club President Ritha Burnett (left) with Lois Proudfoot distributed their annual Easter Basket gifts to the Donnelly Day Service Centre for the IHC.
