Anne Henry of Tolaga Bay dropped in this photo of 79 year old Bert Henry with his catch of the day, a 110 lb hapuka caught off the Tolaga Reef on a Penn 12-0 reel & 80 lb dacron line. A keen fisherman and fanatical gardener, Bert has lived on the Coast since he was 9. He fishes off the boat "Far-out" owned by him and his son. Scientists at the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries are unable to give an accurate age of the hapuka without viewing the otolith bone found in the head, but this is a real old-timer.
