A Fine Time

The fine time of 40m 25s for the 7½ mile testing course was returned by Brian Hose of Wellington when he won the senior race at the New Zealand harrier champs held here on August 9. Auckland's Rex Maddaford was second, with Mike Ryan of Waikato third. Top harriers from all over the country gave their best performances in this Cook Year event.
