Aero Club Fire Loss
The Gisborne Aero Club hangar was damaged when fire broke out in the building on January 25.
Commendably quick action by the Fire Brigade prevented a substantial loss, but unfortunately, one wing and the windshield of the club's Cessna were damaged.
Two other planes in the hangar were removed to safety but some of the flight records in the office area of the building were destroyed.
