Training Vessel's Visit

Under the command of Lieutenant-Commander E. Burrows, H.M.N.Z.S. Kiama paid a twoday visit to Gisborne. Originally a minesweeper the 940-ton ship is now being used as a training vessel and called into Gisborne on her shake-down cruise.
