The Archers
The Gisborne Archery Club held its championships on Mr G. Tyree's property in Dryden Street. Conducted over a national round, members had a variety of targets and distances over which to shoot.
An unusual incident occurred during the shooting when one of Doreen Gray's arrows struck a nail head in a target and split the shaft six ways.
