Indians and Nelson Provided Wonderful Hockey

It was not unexpected that Nelson should be beaten by the touring Indian Wanderers hockey team, but it did come as quite a surprise to both the Indians and Nelson supporters that the spirited Nelson opposition allowed them only 3-2 win. Both teams provided excellent hockey on a good surface at Trafalgar Park. The Indians scored all their three goals in the first half and Nelson was the only scorer in the second.
