The balmy breeze still blows and the sur still shines, though thinly, as the rain clouds gather on the horizon. Soon the lady of this house will be scurrying out to bring in her dry wash. But rain clouds can disappear as quickly as they came, and soon the sun is shining just as strongly on this little house, on this unusual site, not far from Tarakohe in the Golden Bay.
