S.P.C.A. Pet Parade
Mice, dogs, cats, calves, lambs, birds, and in fact any kind of an animal that will make a pet, were paraded by their youthful and very proud owners at the annual pet parade run by the junior section of the Nelson S.P.C.A. Everyone seemed to win a prize, and those who didn't at least received an ice cream.
Straining with the effort of manhandling his woolly lamb is Graeme Sunkel.
Roslynne Aberhart's calf "Trixie" wasn't too sure about the ice cream.
At the age that Louise Hale is at present, mice like "Brown Boy" are good fun. He has several admirers.
"Tim" is the centre of attention for Kerry, Annette and Rosemary Taylor.
Pat Lister announcing more winners.
