Rivals Win Cub Rugby Title

Rival players seated In the stand after they had beaten Old Boys were enthralled by the struggle going on below as Nelson and Celtic battled for victory. And no doubt they were cheering silently, or vociferously for Nelson, for Celtic's defeat, or even draw, would give Rivals the club championship. And that's just what happened. Nelson and Celtic played out a drawn game which either side could have won - Celtic if it could have noticed the points from goal kicking and Nelson if it had finished off one magnificent passing rush towards the end of the game. And the draw gave Rivals the 1 point necessary for victory. This was the best finish to a club championship for many years, with only 1 point separating the top three teams.
