Plunket Mothers' Birthday

The Nelson Plunket Mothers' Club celebrated its 14th birthday recently with a birthday party. Items dreamed up and presented by members kept the big audience amused. During the evening, Mrs Anne Mitchell (right), president of the club, presented a cheque to Mrs Dora Irvine, Plunket Society president (left). The birthday cake is cut (below) by Mrs Irvine, while Miss Ruby Pierson (Plunket supervisor), Mrs Wanaka Gibson (Plunket Nurse) and Mrs Mitchell look on.
