Nelson Harrier Club

Bill Copping took an early lead in the Nelson Athletic, Harrier and Cycling Club's senior championship at Stoke, and, running very easily, retained the lead to take the title. That's Bill at left. Roger Sowman, at right, won the junior title, and Grant Nelson (bottom left) retained his colts' title. The midget girls' championship was won by Roslynn Aberhart (below left) and the midget boys' event went to Martin Thompson below centre).
