College drama festival

The presentation of George Bernard Shaw's "Arms and the Man" won for Maitai House the premier award when the Nelson College for Girls inter-house drama festival was held earlier this month. The pics above and at left, are from that play.

"The Saxon Wives of Ellandune" (Whangamoa House) told the story of the invasion of Britain by the Danes. This play won second prize.
