A Lesson in Judo

During the visit of the Japanese logging ship Kenei Maru, several crew members attended an evening session of the Nelson Judo Club. Among visitors was chief mate, T. Segawa, a Second Dan Black Belt - a very high rating. He demonstrated throws to the Nelson judoka and spent considerable time in improving their techniques.
