Nursing In England
Janet Merlo, daughter of Mr and Mrs S. O. Merlo, 16 Kea Street, Stoke, who was nursing at Whittington Hospital, London, when this pic was taken. Since then, however, she has taken up a private nursing position. Janet was trained at Nelson hospital.

Comings And Goings
With mixed feelings, Gordon and Sylvia Williamson are moving from Nelson to Rotorua, and, of course, taking family of Dean, Julie and Coral with them. Gordon is to establish a new branch office of the land and estate agents, Baldwin and Brown, in Rotorua.

Mr W. S. Burnside, first headmaster at Henley School, Richmond, has taken up the appointment of headmaster of the North East Valley Normal School at Dunedin. Mrs Burnside, who was the first supervisor of junior classes at Henley, will take over a similar position at North East Valley. With them are children Patricia and Christine.

To Lead Pilgrimage
The Rev. Father P. P. Cahill, of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nelson, who has been chosen to lead the New Zealand pilgrimage to Lourdes and Fatima next month. The party will also visit the United States, Rome, London, Ireland and several other countries.

Delighted to receive a letter recently (and pic) from Laurie Polglase, formerly of Stoke, at present on a working holiday around the world. Already, Laurie says, he's visited 24 countries in his 27,000-mile trip. Pleased to hear you are enjoying your "Photo News", Laurie.
