Christmas Party
The Takaka Lions Club played host to Golden Bay senior citizens at a Christmas party.

The East Takaka primary school was recently closed by the Nelson Education Board at the request of parents, and pupils will now attend the two-teacher Central Takaka School. Pix show the school and the pupils who attended on the last day, with their teacher, Mr R. L. Brown.
