Comings & Goings

Welcome to Nelson for Bruce and Phyllis Churchman and their family, Peter, Adele, David and Martin, who have come from Dunedin. Bruce is assistant district officer with the Labour Department. Adele and Peter are attending St Joseph's Convent School and Martin is at Central School.

It's farewell to Tony and Marcia Blake and their children, Janita and Steven. Tony, a teacher at Richmond School, is the new head teacher at Kohi, in the wanganui district.

Off to join hubby, John Mansell, Second Officer on the Saracen, is Mary Mansell (nee Hurst).

A big welcome to the Courtney family, who have come all the way from Penzance (where the pirates are), Cornwall, to Nelson. Ted and Myra Courtney have four children, but only three of them, Philip, Alan and Gillian, have come to Nelson. Ted, an electrician, is a linesman with the electricity department of the Nelson City Council.

A big welcome also to Jim and Margaret Mcintosh, and their family, Mary and John, who have come to us from Masterton. Jim is district valuer with the State Advances Corporation. John is doing a B.Sc. at Massey University and Mary is teaching at Kuranui College, Greytown, close to Masterton.
