What's New in Industry?

Fencing for the Farmer

Whether it's needed to keep stock in or to keep stock out, the one thing that's always needed around a farm is fencing. And now, in Nelson, we have a new factory which will provide the province with all the fencing it wants. Hurricane Wire Products commenced operations in Nelson in March and they're now using about 20 ton of wire a month in wire fencing and barbed wire. Since their operations commenced they have processed something like 3,260,000 yds of wire.
