While the "Miss New Zealand" contestants were in Nelson, we took our local representative, lovely Judith Baigent, to this colourful autumn setting on Church" Hill. Judith won third place in the final of the contest. Congratulations from Nelson, Judith.

We don't make a habit of getting up at sparrow chirp, but as a compensation for leaving a cosy bed at 6 a. m. we had the pleasure of watching this sunrise from Rabbit Island.
Our bottom picture is one of the scenes from the very colourful "Knaughty Knights" which completed a very successful season in Nelson in May.
