MAKE-N-MODEL CONTEST

Modelling an apple green, white-piped coat and a white sheath frock, all made by herself, Mrs Lorna Reay won the annual Nelson section of the Make and Model dressmaking contest held in McKays last month. Mrs Shirley Eaton was second and Mrs Norma Conza was third. Mrs Reay will compete in the national finals.

Mrs J. M. Kundycki, Mrs M. Cottrill, Mrs F. E.Catterall, Miss Maureen Brunning and Mrs E. Martin were in the final 20.

While mum was modelling, little Andrea Jones tried her head on some hats.
