Y'S Men Receive Charter

A branch of the Y's Men, a service club within the Y. M. C. A., was formed in Nelson 12 months ago, but last month, having satisfied the sponsoring club, Invercargill, that it had filled all qualifications, the club received its charter. The Y's Men is similar to Lions and other service organisations, and is international. It was formed in the United States in 1921. (Pix by Russell Knapp)
