Nurses Graduate

For 14 nurses at Nelson Public Hospital, the evening of February 28 was a milestone in their lives. On that evening they received the tangible evidence that the days and nights of hard slogging along the road to trained nurse classification were worthwhile. The ceremony was held at the nurses' home. An unusual and commendable achievement for the hospital was that all 17 nurses who sat the examination, passed. Staff Nurse Judith Robinson shared her happiness with her mother, Mrs Patricia Robinson, Maurice Stephens, brother Robert, father "Bob" and sister, Barbara McAloine.

Mrs Irene Cowman, assistant home supervisor, has a congratulatory word for Pat Bay.
