For a time last month, Nelson was a very busy port. As well as the coastal shipping, the port was host to three overseas ships at the one time and for the first time in its fairly short history, McGlashen Quay was used as berth age for two large overseas vessels. The picture above was taken from the forward mast of the Saracen looking towards McGlashen Quay where the Cymric and Otaio are berthed.
