Kathleen Pullen, aged 16, a cleric with Young Bros for nearly a year now. Kathleen was educated at Sacred Heart College, Nelson, and is keen on indoor and outdoor basketball, dancing and music.

Murray Crisp, aged 21, a hairdresser with Tony Apres. Murray came to Nelson from Motucka six years ago and was educated at Motueka High School and Nelson College. Interests include yachting and rugger.

Lynne Harman, aged 18, is married and is a shop assistant with the Susannah Cake Shop. Lynne was educated at Nelson Girls' College and her interests include swimming, fancy cooking, sewing and angling.

Mrs Catherine Meek came from London two months ago to live in Nelson with her daughter, Mrs Mavis Farrell, 57 Collingwood Street. She's keen on knitting and gardening and finds New Zealand "lovely and green".

Basil Climo, still a bachelor, was born at Wakefield. He's a leather and canvas craftsman with the Canvas and Leather Co. He's interested in gold fossicking, shooting and old time movies, as well as tele and reading.

Morrie Good, a butcher with the Nelson Freezing Co's shop in Hardy Street, is married. Morrie came from Whakatane nearly a year ago. His interests include photography, shooting and fishing.
