Aussie Destroyer Visits Nelson

The Australian destroyer, H. M. A. S. Vendetta, paid a visit to Nelson during last month, and at that time the city was host to some 300 ratings and officers. As was to be expected, the vessel was over-run by children during its four-day stay and in the weekend the mums and dads also had a chance to give the vessel the once-over. It was estimated that more than 7000 visited the vessel.
