The same method of wharf construction as was used on the wharf for Sea Products Export Ltd is being used by the harbour board in the construction of the approach to the big slipway on the reclamation. The interlocking sheet-piling slides into position and is then rammed home with a special steam-driven pile-driver. The slipway, when completed, will cater for vessels up to 1000 tons.
