Monorail Unit at Port Nelson

In the construction of Kingsford Quay at Port Nelson, thousands of cubic yards of concrete will be laid. Normally this is a slow and backbreak-ing task. But the purchase of a monorail carrying unit by the board has speeded up the work and brought smiles to the faces of the staff- The motor-ised unit, with its large hopper, has taken over the onerous carrying job thereby releasing staff for other work. The unit runs on one rail which can be extended to any required length. It stops automatically and requires no driver.
