Book week in nelson

To emphasise book week in Nelson and to add to the children's interest, the annual campaign was commenced with a parade of school children representing characters out of books, and books themselves. And what a gigantic success it was. More than 750 children paraded down Trafalgar Street to the Church Steps in as varied a selection of clothing as could be imagined.
