Roofing made in nelson

A rollform corrugator, made in Rotorua and now installed in the Annesbrook factory of Zip Wholesalers, is providing Nelson district with all the corrugated iron it needs. This machine has two virtues. It has ended the shortage of corrugated iron imported from Australia and it can provide iron of any length desired. Now, the steel is imported as huge rolls of flat steel and is processed at the plant. It can manufacture about 12,000 ft of corrugated iron a day.

When the iron reaches the required length it is automatically cut by a corrugated, hydraulically operated guillotine.
