Super Frigate Visits Nelson

The first of the New Zealand Navy's super frigates, Otago, paid a brief visit to Nelson during the month, A beautiful-looking craft with all the latest in electronic equipment and living quarters which are the acme of comfort for crew, the Otago was host to hundreds of sight-seers, but there was little to see for much of the equipment is still on the secret list and tight security measures were enforced.
