Nayland College's First Sports

The first athletic sports of Nayland College held at Nelson Intermediate School indicated that several pupils will make their mark in the athletics world in the future. Outstanding effort was that of P. Roper, who, after setting a cracking pace in the 880, still had the stamina to ward off a strong challenge by B. Knutson and win by yards.
