Undoubtedly the best-known and probably the most used building in Nelson, is the Post Office. Its distinctive clock tower which has survived several demolition threats is visible from many parts of Nelson, and on New Year's Eve particularly is the focal point of thousands of eyes.

No need to identify this beach for Nelsonians. As you no doubt guessed, this picture was taken at the height of Christmas vacation when holiday makers from all parts of New Zealand soaked up the sun on Tahunanui Beach.
