A three-man Australian team flying this Aero Commander aircraft packed full of electronic equipment carried out an aerial survey for possible oil deposits in Tasman Bay, for Tasman Petroleum Ltd recently. A feature of the aircraft was its long tail boom, into which is fitted some of the electronic equipment.
