The Ups And Downs Of Rodeo Riders

The second rodeo to be held on the top of Takaka Hill drew a slightly bigger crowd than last year, but not as many riders and, all round, the day fell a little short of last year's extremely successful rodeo. But there was certainly no reduction in the numbers of riders who bit the turf (it was too wet for dust), and the standard of riding was very high.
