Skating Carnival

The Nelson Skating Club hit upon a winner when it decided to run a carnival at the rink at Tahuna on the Sunday of Labour weekend. The big crowd which attended was provided with a mixed grill - skating, judo, marching, gymnastics, Maori items and ballet. A perfect day added to the success of what could well be an annual event.
