The Veterinary Surgeon

While the human body is performing; its normal functions, seldom a thought is given to the doctors. And the same applies to livestock and pets. While they're thriving, all is well, but when sickness or injury strikes, the veterinary surgeon is soon informed. Much of the Nelson district is served by Mr Peter Malone and his veterinary team. At Stoke he has established his surgery and main hospital block, but he took a notable step forward recently in establishing a city clinic and veterinary supplies shop in his new building in Rutherford Street. With these additions, and his new facilities at Stoke, Mr Malone can lay claim to having one of the most uptodate veterinary practices in Australasia. Because of the tremendous area which has to be covered, both Mr Malone and his assistant, Mr Alan White, use aircraft to make many of the calls.
