The Flowers That Bloom In The Spring

It's easy to tell when spring has arrived in Nelson. Suddenly the green of the grass takes on a different hue and the bare trees are accentuated by early blossom and the striking yellow of thousands of daffodils. They can be seen out in the country areas, bordering streams and in the paddocks. And they fill the home gardens throughout the province. Some of these, the best, find their way to the Nelson Horticultural Society's spring show, there to be critically appraised and graded by the experts.
