A Half-Century in Dairying

Fifty years of dairying in Nelson was celebrated by the Waimea Co-operative Dairy Company at its annual meeting earlier this month. During the meeting opportunity was taken to make the presentation of a rocking chair to Mr L. Higgins, who has retired after spending 40 years on the board of directors of the company.
