Renovations at Bishopdale

The residence of Nelson's Bishop, at Bishopdale, is being completely renovated in preparation for its occupation by the new Bishop, the Very Rev Sutton, Dean of Dunedin, who will be consecrated in the cathedral on August 24. The beautiful home, built in 1929, has recently been menaced by a clump of giant redwood trees and because of their potential danger it was decided to fell them. On the next page we show something of these operations.
