When Tim Anderson, of Blenheim, injured himself while skiing on Mount Robert last month, members of the Nelson Ski Club brought him down by stretcher to an ambulance at Lake Rotoiti. As can be seen, the terrain was pretty tough, so that the trip down in 1 3/4 hours was very good going.

When shipping holdups prevented cars from reaching main ports, some agents shipped to secondary ports and Nelson received its quota. Twelve cars were landed in Nelson and the drive-away service of E. H. Boyce, of Christchurch, took them in convoy to Christchurch.
