A dragline operating at the airport cleaning, deepening, and realigning Jenkins Stream. On the eastern side of the stream the rubbish tip is encroaching more and more on to this area.

Here's a tree, at the Nelson Club, which wasn't told it was winter. The tree, in full blossom, was taken during a spell of heavy frosts.

Three, 3000 gallon tanks in which bitumen will be stored had been set in place and a fourth was being prepared for placement when this pic was taken on the reclamation. The tanks, with much larger ones to be built later, will be used when the new bitumen plant it established at the port.
