Hercules Lands At Nelson

One of the R.N.Z.A.F.'s new Hercules aircraft made an unexpected call at Nelson airport two weeks ago. The big, four-engine plane passed over the town before touching down with ease on the runway at the airport. Within the very short period it was on the ground hundreds of spectators flocked to the airport to view this giant aircraft. It returned two days later on another familiarisation flight.
