Jungle Training For College Cadets

A new Army Department directive that third-year school cadets must undergo jungle training was put into effect recently when cadets of No 1 platoon of the Nelson College n.c.o. training unit moved into the Maungatapu area. In heavy rain the unit did training exercises in jungle formations, ambush drills, camp establishment and living on a 24-hour ration pack. The unit was under the control of Mr M. K. Denholme who supplied us with these pics.
