The American ketch Si Ti Si, which limped into Port Nelson after being damaged in a freak gale at Cape Farewell, left Nelson earlier this month on return to San Diego. Her crew, owners John and Mary Lavery, and Norman Cross, of Wellington, have been sailing round the world for the last six and a half years.
