Squash Tourney

Top quality squash was played in Nelson during the Nelson club's tournament recently. Top billing was that of Aftab Jawaid, of Pakistan, world amateur champion, who met and vanquished two of New Zealand's top players, Graham Bird, of Timaru, and Barry Rippon, also Timaru. Bird, however, won the A grade section of the tournament with three wins.
