Women's Hockey
The Nelson women's hockey team was no match for the very smooth New South Wales touring team at the Botanies recently. The visitors had an easy 9-1 win, and only sterling defence kept the score to this figure. Nelson seldom had opportunities to attack the visitors' goal and for the most part was pinned in its own half.
