A traffic trouble spot, the Tahuna Beach corner, eradicated. For long this corner has been a source of concern, but the re-direction of traffic by the use of fislands has eliminated guesswork at the corner, and provided hard and fast rules which should ease the problem at this very busy intersection. Under the new system the truck at right has the right-of-way where formerly it did not, and traffic wishing to leave Rocks Road for Beach Road must now give way and travel round the outside island.
